This facility record includes pre-1980 information from the FCC/FRC manual history cards that pre-dates both the CDBS system and its predecessor BAPS. The history cards contain information about stations from the early days of radio. Not all records are included. Records such as license renewals and auxilliary facilities are excluded. Also, the information on the history cards was not very detailed and only contain the very basic information. We have included the comments from the card entries to help guide you along the history. REC feels that the history of radio is just as important as its future. REC will be slowly adding this data to the system giving priority to major markets and heritage stations.
